Prabhas — who was recently seen on the big screen in the action-thriller Saaho, opposite Shraddha Kapoor — has started work on a currently untitled romantic drama film, directed by Radha Krishna. This will be the 20th film of the Baahubali star and is being promoted as Prabhas 20. It features Pooja Hegde (seen in Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi) as the female lead. Prabhas had announced the new project a few months back on Facebok, by posting the following message, “Hey guys, I am very excited to share with you the launch of my next trilingual film, directed by KK Radha Krishna and produced by Gopi Krishna movies in association with UV creations. The shoot for the same with Pooja Hegde will begin very soon.”

Shooting has already commenced, with the first two schedules already wrapped up in London, Europe, as the film’s story is based in Europe of the 1970s. Prabhas, who has promised fans a different role with this project, needs to shed some pounds to play the romantic hero. Although he has always had a lean physique, the actor had beefed up for his action-centric roles in Baahubali and Saaho. However, now the actor has started following a strict diet and is also working out rigorously to get a more muscular physique, based on the director’s request.

During an event, the Telugu star had announced that he has taken a break from doing mega budget films as their production requires more time. Saaho, made on a big budget of INR350 crore, took two years. However, the film has been a huge success at the worldwide box office, crossing the INR 450 crore mark within ten days of its release. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Chunky Pandey and Jackie Shroff in lead roles.
