Bollywood starlet Sonam Kapoor is one of the most fashion forward celebrities in the industry. Whether it’s a film premiere or a movie promotion, the actress has made sure that she looks the best and has often experimented with her looks. Thanks to her sister, Rhea Kapoor – who loves fashion equally – Sonam has sometimes pulled off some of the most bizarre outfits. Due to their love for fashion, the two also launched their own clothing line back in 2017 called Rheson, taking from both of their names. Now being a fashionista in the industry, Sonam also sometimes has quite a lot to say about others’ fashion choices.

In a recent interview during the promotions of her upcoming film, The Zoya Factor, Sonam spoke about fellow Bollywood beauty, Deepika Padukone’s fashion choices. She said, “I think she has an amazing body so she should like dress to show her body.” This is not the first time the Neerja star has commented on Deepika’s choices. In the past while appearing on filmmaker Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan, Sonam advised that Deepika should be “creating her own style”. She also stated that the Padmaavat actress was a “good girl gone bad” and that her PR team was “overenthusiastic”.

Sonam also compared Deepika’s style to that of Katrina Kaif’s and said, “Katrina is herself. She does not try to fit into a mould, which I respect a lot. She is not trying to be the fashion icon of the century. Even if Katrina wears jeans and a T-shirt and has her hair in ponytail, I’d rather have that than someone who is like ‘I want to be on the cover of Vogue every three months’.” On the work front, Sonam is gearing up for the release of The Zoya Factor opposite Dulquer Salmaan that is all set to hit screens on September 20.
